Steven Page has many scriptwriting credits, including TV drama and comedy (for South Pacific Pictures, Gibson Group, TV3, Granada TV), Radio drama and comedy (for Radio NZ, BBC, Greater London Radio), Theatre material (for shows in Wellington, Auckland and London), Factual Programmes (for Cue TV, SIT Productions), and several short films. He has also written six feature film screenplays, five of which have received NZFC development funding.
Steven's stage play Fool to Cry won 'Highly Commended' at the 2016 Adam NZ Play awards and was adapted into a feature film screenplay with South Pacific Pictures and Vendetta Productions. His musical Give Way: The Musical was awarded the 2023 McNaughton South Island Play Award and was shortlisted for the Adam NZ Play award.
Steven attended a Narrative Comedy Masterclass at AFTRS in Sydney, thanks to professional development funding from the New Zealand Film Commission.
He has a degree in Digital Media (Film) and a graduate diploma in 3D Animation.
