James Griffin has made his living, in this country, as a writer for almost twenty years now. He tends to view this as no mean feat. In that time he has written primarily for television, on such series as Gloss, Funny Business, Citylife, Mercy Peak and Spin Doctors. He has also written one play, Serial Killers, which did the rounds of the major theatres back in 2000/2001. A seven-part television series based on this play has recently finished screening on TV One. James also writes a weekly column for Canvas magazine and is currently Head of Development for South Pacific Pictures.
