Geoff Bartlett

Geoff has been involved in the arts for over 30 years, starting in Australia and most recently in Whangarei, which has been his home for the past four years.

Locally, he has worked with the Octagon Theatre and on the Board of Creative Northland.

In Australia, he worked professionally as a journalist, author, actor and script writer.

As a journalist, his articles have appeared in: The Sydney Morning Herald, The Sunday Telegraph, Herald Sun, Courier Mail, West Australian, Canberra Times, Australian Style and The New Zealand Herald.

He wrote, Comedians in the Mist (Harper Collins, Australia 1999) which features interviews with Australian comedians. 

Geoff has taught writing classes and hosts community writing workshops.

He has appeared in feature roles on TV shows in Australia such as All Saints, Water Rats, BackBerner and Home and Away. He has also written and produced several short films.
