Anya Tate-Manning is a performer, director and scriptwriter. Anya has been performing professionally since 1999 and is a graduate of Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School and Otago University and has an MA in Scriptwriting from the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University. Anya is a member of the cult hit show Puppet Fiction which has toured to the Edinburgh Fringe and around Australia and New Zealand. Since 2010 Anya has made political satire in Wellington with the No Fefe Collective and James Nokise, under the title of Public Service Announcements. Anya also writes and performs solo comedy work; An Hour with Ackbar (NZ International Comedy Festival) is a celebration of one of the galaxies most under appreciated heroes, and My Best Dead Friend written with Isobel MacKinnon (Perth Fringe World, Australia, Edinburgh Fringe and New Zealand) is a tribute to friendship and loss.
