George Arthur is a writer and educator. His plays include shows for both adults and students and a popular stage adaptation of The Vicar of Dibley. In 2020, his play ‘A Relatively Uneventful Evening’ was shortlisted for the Adam New Zealand Play Award. His scripts have been performed in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
Passionate about Arts education, George studied Teaching at the University of Otago and has run several busy Drama and Arts Departments in schools in New Zealand and and Australia.
George is originally from southern New Zealand and is now based in Melbourne, Australia.
