A young man is bribed by his lecherous employer to marry a pregnant maid. A short time later he is bigamously forced by his debt-ridden father to marry another and attract a dowry. Predicament! Meanwhile an old woman, sick at being accused of witchcraft, wishes she were actually a witch so she could wreak vengeance on her persecutors. Lo! the Devil appears in the form of a Dog and grants her wishes.
