An enchanting story of a toy rabbit that dearly wishes to become 'real'.
A young boy discovers the velveteen rabbit in his Christmas stocking, but its soon forgotten amongst the other toys and the velveteen rabbit waits in hope that he will be loved enough to become 'real'. One night the boy's favourite cuddly toy is lost and the velveteen rabbit becomes the boy's favourite companion, and his journey to become 'real' begins.
