An updated poetic version of the Pania of the Reef legend. It follows roughly the same story, but with the humorous commentary one would expect when a modern optometrist with a casual manner of speech falls in love with a mermaid who is a fierce hunter and speaks in poetic ‘thees’ and ‘thous’.
