Bo is a young activist and brilliant public speaker who has been invited to Berlin to speak at a large international Climate Change conference. She wants her mum, Leila to join her, but Leila is less interested in her daughter’s growing fame than the poor conditions in which she lives. Bo has given most of her money to higher causes and refuses to spend money on herself arguing that her job is ‘to save the planet.’ Leila grew up in poverty and wants her daughter to have the best. The play explores their very different perspectives.
