“I’m going insane! I want to see something that’s not hanging from a clothesline! I need to do something with my life!”
Pammie, menopausal, uptight and bored with her suburban life in Auckland, sets off on a comical European trip with her sulky teenage daughter, Angel. Despite Angel’s protests at having to leave her friends, she’s dragged along and told to shut up and enjoy it. The generation gap is more of a giant crater as the two of them travel together, but the journey bonds them closer and they discover moments of real joy. Through them we meet the odd and colourful characters they encounter on their journey.
