1906. Two boys enjoy a blissful Kiwi summer developing their friendship. Years later the spectre of World War I is on the horizon and the pair of now grown men have important decisions to make. One is determined to sign up for war while the other is not. Their friendship is tested as never before and they both know they will have to live with the consequences.
