Goddess

After her death, Amanda views her life through the prism of her best friend, Irvine’s memory, the only person who ever knew her and remembered her. They were both child prodigies who grew up together and formed a very close friendship, to the point where they excluded other people. Amanda views her life, but upon realising that Irvine has remembered her incorrectly, she attempts to change his memory without any success. She views her life from their first meeting to her being a suicidal teenager to being a suicidal, damaged adult. At the end, Amanda comes to terms with the fact that Irvine has remembered her incorrectly and that actually may be better for him, to remember her as she was, dark, hateful and flawed would be too damaging. It is revealed that Amanda did kill herself, and she delivers her own eulogy to Irvine, before she goes into the beyond.
