Follows 150 years of a Pakeha family as recreated through the eyes of two teenagers doing a family project. In 6 scenes, plus an epilogue, characters recreate family relationships and events involving national identity. This is done through day to day conversations as the family history unfolds across major periods of New Zealand's history.
