Finnius Teppett is a writer/director based in Auckland. He has an MA in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) from Victoria University's IIML, and is an award-winning playwright. His play My Dad’s Boy was workshopped at Buffalo, New York’s Against the Grain Festival, and opened Fortune Theatre’s 2017 season. He was a creator, writer, and director for RNZ webseries The Citizen’s Handbook, and his NZFC-funded short film Democracy premiered at NZIFF 2020. In 2021 his feature screenplay I.O.U. was selected for the inaugural Black List NZ Project.
