After cutting her teeth with Australasia's longest running comedy show, Scared Scriptless, Lizzie has worked as a globe-trotting actor and theatre maker for the last fifteen years. She founded Rollicking Entertainment, creating ten original productions which have criss-crossed New Zealand to great acclaim. Lizzie’s delight in genre-bending has seen a career rich in variety; making crowds laugh, gasp and cheer in theatres and festivals across eight countries with a mix of cabaret, classical theatre and storytelling. She is a previous Associate Director of Centrepoint Theatre and an in-demand freelancer throughout Australasia: performing, directing and devising for theatre and cabaret.
As a writer, Lizzie creates multidisciplinary work which leapfrogs over the fourth wall with startling honesty, lingering beauty and snort-laughs. She makes astute shows about underdogs- thrilling, direct address theatre with comedy and heart.
