When struggling theatre director Martin Quincannon finally gets his break on the West End by snaring renowned actor Richard Pryce, Pryce goes and dies before the first rehearsal. Enter Richard’s twin brother Karl, a degenerate gambler and drinker, who must now save his departed brother’s legacy by taking his place in the play.
