Darryl Newman is a man with a broken guitar, two mortgages, and a mid-life crisis. His ambitious wife wants him to "get a hair cut and get a real job". His teenage daughter is an alien to him in a tech-driven, social media world. After an altercation at a wedding gig, Darryl is ordered to go to anger management. Over the course of a week, Darryl meets a diverse range of people who guide him towards a new perspective on life. Darryl learns that the things in life that make you rich are not possessions, but rather passions.
