An hilarious musical satire about our resistance to change, even if it's for the better.
It tells the fictitious story behind the 2012 change in New Zealand's Give Way rule, in which an idealistic young Ministry of Transport employee (Sophie) makes it her mission to do the right thing and change the country’s unique and bizarre Give Way rule. Though it would mean safer roads and improved traffic flow, 'The Resistance' fears Sophie's rule change will destroy a much-loved tradition, upend the lives of decent, hard-working New Zealanders, and ultimately unravel the very fabric of our society. What follows is a (musical) battle for the very soul of our nation.
