Maria and Feste, who work in the household Malvolio runs, decide to play a joke on Malvolio to convince him to take a vacation (which would mean they could have fun while he’s away) using the same Olivia-loves-you ruse from Twelfth Night. He learns his lesson and decides to take a few days off and be looser when it comes to allowing fun in the household.
