The TV in the Swimming Pool

It’s the night the Rolling Stones play Wellington.

Dave (a huge fan) and his wife Gemma come home from the concert to find their niece Sophie asleep on their sofa.

What starts out as a surprise visit, quickly brings to the surface secrets and unresolved issues. Then there’s also the explosions, sex, grief, music, babies, love, death, and a paddling pool.

Set over the course of this one night, but with visits to the past and to the future.

For Dave in particular, it’s a journey of self discovery he’d rather not take, and for the life of him he can’t see why he should. He’d rather lose himself in the music.
