Fleeing their fates as determined by their fairytale and mythological origins, Princesses Snow White, Cinderella, Briar Rose, Rapunzel, Scheherazade, Medea, Hinemoa and Kaguya live together in a flat. But tensions are growing with eight young women all occupying the same small residence. Then there’s their villains from their stories, coming back to haunt them and to play on the flaws in their lives. With Hinemoa’s wedding coming up, things come to a head at her hen’s night. A nasty falling-out splits the flat in two. The living situation continues, but it’s a simmering cauldron set to overflow at any moment. The final straw comes when a horrible betrayal is uncovered. It takes the princesses teaming up, helping each other overcome their villains and their foibles, to bring everyone back together again as friends.
