Sisters, Sophia and Frieda, meet to settle the affairs of their artist father, Julian Andrew Blake AKA JAB. Amongst the trauma of dealing with his suicide, tidying up his home and estate, and dealing with his long-term friend, curator, and biographer, arrives the daughter of one of their father’s supposed muses. Despite Sophia and Frieda initially writing off the young woman as wanting to lay claim to part of the estate, she reveals information that both enlightens the circumstances of their father’s suicide and shatters the image of their father that the two sisters are trying to hold together.
