Long Ride Home

David is back in Te-whanganui-a-tara visiting family after spending half a decade as a struggling actor in London. On a long bike ride to a party, he attempts to reconnect with his public- transport-planner-sister Cate, and convince her to move to England with him. Cate tries to convince David of the opposite.

The siblings reach the party and go inside. When they emerge, three years have passed, and David has moved to Te-whanganui-a-tara. Hard truths and hidden resentments come to light, and both of their lives, along with their relationship, are changed forever.
