Jeff Addison

Jeff was born in 1963 and educated at Waikato and Victoria Universities. In 1984 he was the winner of the Macmillan Brown Prize for Writers. In 1989 his play Legitimate Strip was workshopped at the National Playwrights Workshop, and in 1991 it was performed under the title Idol Adultery at Bats Theatre in Wellington. Jeff's interest in music has led to the incorporation of original songs into most of his plays. He has recently settled near Tauranga and has begun making puppets, and writing and producing puppet theatre.
