A freelance professional actor working in radio, TV and theatre since the olden days, Michael Wilson has written numerous reviews and satirical sketches for theatre, TV and radio. He writes to try to make sense out of his fantasies... also to ensure he occasionally gets cast. He has one horror movie up his sleeve, several radio plays down his gumboots, and a film script, some stage plays and hundreds of revue scripts in a box in the garage. Born in 1952 and raised in Whakatane, he was educated at Victoria University, which accounts for the curious blend of erudition and rusticity in his plays. He now manages an Access Radio Station and teaches Radio Drama at The National Youth Drama School.
