Samoa is plagued by the Alele, a gang of winged thieves who fly from island to island stealing all the food and whatever else they can lay their hands on. When they steal all of Chief Tuisamata’s yams his eldest grandson, Sapai, embarks on a quest to rid Samoa of the Alele and return the yams. A quest that will take him to the Underworld and back.
