Turbulent Flux is a monologue based on a dozen interviews with people who are or have been transient.
The subjects include a refugee, a child caught in custody dispute, an actor, a woman taking her OE in the '50s and a traveller to the moon.
Turbulent Flux draws us into the minds of characters who are defined by the vast journeys they have made, arriving at the universal questions: where exactly am I going? and how will I know when I have arrived?
The original show was accompanied by super8 home movies from the 1960s and a composition for prepared piano.
"Evoking a mysterious world of memory and dispossession, the show is a quiet and unfussy tour-de-force." Illusions
"In Turbulent Flux storytelling is about evoking fragments of images and memories, portraying the vibrancy of life, accident and the flux of time successfully conveyed through all three media used in the performance". Scoop
