The Woodsman and The Prince

A fairy tale for adults. While fleeing through the dangerous woods from his wicked father, young and innocent prince Larkspur is rescued by a mysterious and reclusive woodsman. Alone in the woods, the pair gradually fall in love with each other. However, the Woodsman is cursed with possession of a powerfully enchanted axe that is bent on killing everything; in his strong hands alone is this terrible, bloodthirsty weapon safe. And the Prince has a bleeding sickness which means even a tiny cut could bring death. This creates a rift in their relationship, and when the Prince makes a poor decision to return to the castle, the woodsman is forced to choose between protecting the entire kingdom from a fate it has brought upon itself, or rescuing the one he loves.

Features a chorus of townspeople and animals.
