Scientists predict the death of the sun. In an effort to stop this, we decide to send a bomb into it, this does not have the desired effect. The sun goes out and the world is left in complete darkness. Despite initial chaos, this isn’t a total catastrophe for the human race. Twenty years later, in the superstore called Daylight Savings, three young workers and their manager are on the night shift. Everything changes when their store is unexpectedly taken hostage by a pair of criminals with a plan to put a Sun of their own back in the sky.
