The classic Cinderella story with a few twists and turns and deliberately bawdy and irreverent content. At the end, Prince Charming rejects poor Cinderella and falls in love, instead, with one of the Ugly Sisters. Topical and political references can be updated. It is interspersed with songs, but these can be regarded as merely suggestions and other appropriate musical material inserted.
