An elderly couple in a decrepit home are notified that their abode is to be bulldozed to make way for a motorway. But the woman is bed-ridden and an ancient ex-boxer enters the scene with his own ideas. The play takes an honest look at society's flotsam trying to prove it has a right to put down roots.
