"Lucy graduated from Toi Whakaari, the New Zealand Drama School, in 1992 as an actor. Since that time she has appeared in over thirty professional stage productions in theatres nationwide and has written five plays. These are; trash for which she was nominated for two Chapman Tripp awards in 1998, Mumma written with funding from CNZ, Sisters and Netballers - both co-written with Alison Quigan for Centrepoint Theatre and Eddie and the Afterlife commissioned by the University of Otago. Lucy is currently head storyliner for ?kina, the drama component of K?rero Mai on M?ori Television. She is also completing Weighing In, commissioned by Centrepoint Theatre for their 2006 season."
