Playwrights Conference
Aotearoa Playwrights Conference 2008 – A Playwrights’ RetreatThis year Playmarket is doing something different. We are creating a retreat to provide playwrights the space to work on a play, with no pressures, and within a community of 10 playwrights. This seven-day retreat (including two travel days) will be at Strathean Country Retreat, in Te Horo, one hour north of Wellington. The retreat will be fully catered, allowing playwrights time to be only a playwright, and immerse themselves into the world of their plays.
Retreat –
21-27 July, 2008 There is no fee. This retreat is fully funded by Creative New Zealand and Playmarket, however travel to and from the retreat will be at your expense. Places are limited and preference will be given to client writers.
