Trussell-Cullen, Alan
Born in Auckland in 1941. Alan Trussell-Cullen grew up in several North Island towns. He now lectures in English and Drama at Auckland Teachers' College where he has workshopped a number of plays. He has written some 20 odd radio plays, has TV credits for numerous comedy shows ('Billy T. James', 'Radio Times', 'Twelve Bar Rhythm and Shoes'), drama programmes ('Radio Waves', 'Close to Home'), children's programmes ('Playschool'), poetry ('Over the Wall and Out'), and plays ('My Better Half', 'The Reynolds', 'Bedside Manner'). He also writes for children and is working on feature film scripts. His stage plays have been performed in Dublin and Seattle as well as New Zealand.
