Playwrights' Membership

 

If you are writing for the theatre you can apply to join us as a Playwright member, entitling you to our raft of events, advice and information, and cheaper tickets at a professional theatre near you.

Playwright membership is about you treating your writing seriously and us treating you seriously in return! We may be able to assist playwright members with advice in development and production.

Other Benefits Include:

  • Free annual subscription to our bi-annual magazine Playmarket News a magazine providing playwrights with invaluable inspiration and discussion.
  • Playmarket's monthly ebulletin.
  • 10% discount off all published and unpublished scripts.
  • Invitations to various Playmarket functions and special events.
  • A discount theatre card (for the deals see below)

Please note that Playwright membership does not include agency representation.

To be eligible to be a Playwright member you must be able to provide us by email, mail or in person with an example of your playwriting work (at whatever stage). Provide this and an annual membership of $30.
