Playmarket News is New Zealand's only magazine dedicated to New Zealand theatre.
The Autumn 2008 issue has a focus on Auckland and all that is happening in the independent theatre scene there, including articles on Q Theatre, Massive Company, the Auckland Playwrights' Collective and the Pasifika Playwrights Forum as well as an insight to one of New Zealand's youngest and most prolific playwrights, Tom Sainsbury.

Begun in 2003 Playmarket's eBulletin has become a vital monthly source in the industry inbox for playwrights and theatre of news, opportunities, NZ theatre productions, websites and articles of interest. It's a national network, and you can become a part by becoming a member of Playmarket. See our membership page for details.
Play Publishing
In late 2007 Playmarket will be launching a regular play publishing programme of our client writers' work to complement existing independent play publishing. We'll keep you posted with further information through this site. In the meantime please check out our bookshop for a one-stop shop for New Zealand plays.
